ABOUT Kevin D. Klagge


Mr. Klagge is a partner of Phillips, Cantor & Shalek, P.A., concentrating in complex business and insurance disputes in federal and state courts. Mr. Klagge began his career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Mr. Klagge has extensive trial experience, including nearly 50 trials. Mr. Klagge has represented a wide range of clients in litigation, including international companies, Fortune 100 companies, insurance companies, private equity groups, and individuals with pressing legal needs. Mr. Klagge also represents homeowners and businesses in insurance litigation and recovery.

Mr. Klagge earned his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, graduating summa cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Klagge was a member of the Transnational Law Review, and he received recognition for achieving the top mark in several courses. Mr. Klagge clerked with First Justice of the Massachusetts Trial Court, Hon. Justice Paul C. Dawley, and he interned with the Judge Advocate General for the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Klagge earned his BS degree, magnum cum laude, from Boston University.
