Joseph Poklemba concentrates his practice in commercial and construction litigation matters.

Mr. Poklemba has more than twenty years of experience representing individuals and corporate entities in a wide variety of commercial litigation, construction litigation, banking and real estate litigation matters.

He has also represented lenders and financial institutions in a variety of consumer finance litigation matters in federal and state court, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims.

Mr. Poklemba is experienced with motions practice, oral argument, the discovery process, trial practice and post-trial work.

He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern School of Law (J.D. 1995) and Drexel University School of Business (M.B.A. Systems Management 1985).

In addition, Mr. Poklemba is a member of The Florida Bar who is also licensed to practice before The United States Supreme Court, The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Mr. Poklemba is also a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. He currently serves on the Real Property Litigation and Real Estate Financing & Lending Committees. In addition, he is an active supporter of the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY). AACY is a national resource for children and adolescents who are caring for ill, injured, aging, frail or disabled family members. Its Caregiving Youth Project model combines healthcare, education and the community as it supports student-caregivers in school, out of school and at home.
